About NESKIS
Your comprehensive guide to skiing the Northeast.
NESKIS (Northeast Ski Information System) is a comprehensive guide to skiing and snowboarding in the Northeastern United States. We cover 69 ski areas across 7 states, from community rope-tow hills to world-class destination resorts.
Every resort profile includes detailed stats and specs — vertical drop, trail counts, terrain breakdowns, base and summit elevations, lift system details including manufacturers and hourly capacity, pass affiliations, night skiing availability, and GPS coordinates. We also include planning information like learn-to-ski programs, lodging options, apres-ski, and the best times to visit.
Coverage
Our database currently tracks 69 resorts with 3,713 trails served by 519 lifts across Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
Data Accuracy
Resort data is compiled from official resort websites and verified against multiple sources. Lift manufacturers, terrain breakdowns, and facility details are researched individually for each resort. While we strive for accuracy, ski resorts frequently update their infrastructure — if you spot an error, please let us know.
